Narragraphy™
My work lives where image and story meet—and where each must stand on its own. I call this approach Narragraphy™: a dual-discipline craft that blends carefully captured photography with equally compelling narrative, rooted in observation, not invention.
I don’t chase spectacle. I wait for it.
Each photograph is an act of witnessing—often the result of timing, patience, and working within unpredictable conditions. Life, motion, stillness, form, light, texture, and shadow—captured as they truly are. From a bald eagle on the Narrow River to a fog-softened shoreline, or a fleeting human gesture across the world, I honor what’s in front of me.
The writing does not explain the image—it completes it. It adds presence without intrusion, context without clutter. Together, image and story create something more than documentation. They become lived experience—seen, felt, and shared.
What began as a personal pursuit has grown into a body of work followed by readers in 72 countries—drawn not only to the images, but to the stories that bring them to life.
My signature is simple: presence over performance, story over spectacle, meaning over noise.
My hope is just as simple—that the reader is moved to marvel at this world and all that’s in it. To spark curiosity. Wonder. Understanding. Appreciation. Respect. And, not least of all, the ability to laugh and enjoy the discovery.
