Since I started this blog last June, I’ve written 274 stories.
And every single one is paired with at least one photograph.
That’s because what you’re seeing here isn’t just photography. And it’s not just writing either.
It’s Narragraphy™.
A photograph that sparked a thought.
A moment that turned into a story.
Sometimes the story explains how the photograph happened.
Sometimes the photograph explains the story.
Either way, the two travel together.
But here’s the little secret.
If you enjoy the photographs you see in these Narragraphy™ stories…
you ain’t seen nothing yet.
The images that appear with the blog are intentionally reduced in size and resolution, so they load quickly on your phone, tablet, or laptop – just like the ones in this blog. They’re perfect for online viewing—but they are not the full photographic files.
Let me explain it in everyday terms.
Think about the difference between looking at a picture on your phone… and standing in front of a large framed photograph hanging on a wall.
The one on your phone looks nice.
But the framed print?
That’s where you suddenly notice the details. The texture in feathers. The subtle color in the sky. The ripples in the water. The tiny things that make the photograph come alive.
Another way to think about it:
The photos in the blog are like a movie trailer.
The photographs in my gallery are the full feature film.
The versions online are smaller for two good reasons:
• They load faster for readers
• They help protect my copyright
The true high-resolution photographs—the ones capable of producing beautiful, frame-worthy prints—live in my gallery.
So if one of these Narragraphy™ stories made you smile…
or laugh…
or pause for a moment…
You might want to see the photograph the way it was meant to be seen.
Take a look here:
That’s where the photographs live in their full glory—sharp, detailed, and ready for the wall.
And now you know.
You ain’t seen nothing yet.
I’d love to share my posts with you. If you subscribe, they’ll come straight to your inbox—most days, like a little note from me to you. It means a lot to know you’re reading along.
